About Dr. Dagmar
Dr. Dagmar N’giowa DNP, NP-C is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). She began her career in health care by volunteering at a hospital at a young age. She attended Washington Adventist University, Takoma Park, Maryland where she received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing.
Dr. Dagmar then pursued her interest in nursing and due to her outstanding academic standings she was invited and inducted into one of the nation’s largest leadership honor societies, The National Society of Leadership and Success. She then graduated from Bowie State University with a Master of Science in Nursing Degree with a focus as a (FNP). She then practiced as an FNP in primary, adult, and geriatric care. She has worked primarily in the emergency department, urgent care and family practice settings. She works as a Hospitalist and also as a house call provider. She was an adjunct clinical professor at her alma mater Washington Adventist University and still precepts undergrad and graduate nursing students. While working full-time as a hospitalist, she enrolled at Chatham University in Pittsburg Pennsylvania to complete her Doctorate of Nursing Practice in 2019.
Dr. Dagmar is an active member of professional organizations including the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the National Society Of Leadership and Success. She believes that healing and wholeness are matters of the body, the mind, and the spirit. She lives with her husband and children, loves to travel, encouraging and helping others to succeed.
